AboutME

Here’s a sneakpeak into me as a person:

I'm Seunghye Lee (but just call me Kai), a designer based in Brooklyn with a passion for crafting immersive experiences. I was born in Korea but raised all over the globe, making me very much a third-culture kid with a unique perspective and adaptability

I thrive in dynamic, fast-paced environments, with experiences in merchandising, event planning, landscape architecture, and more. My journey has taken me through managing product training sessions at Ralph Lauren, managing social media and PR and Moho, and overseeing public projects at Seoho Engineering. I love blending traditional, craftsmanship with modern aesthetics, constantly experimenting with materials and colors. I hold a degree in Industrial Design from RISD, and I've also studied internationally at Central Saint Martins and Yonsei University to supplement my studies on fields like visual merchandising and marketing. I love pushing design boundaries and delivering high-quality solutions that bring ideas to actionable life. Understanding market trends, discovering captivating storytelling methods, and visualizing concepts are my passions. In my free time, I love to explore neighborhoods, whether through aimless wandering or meticulously finding the hottest new spots. Galleries and museums are my go-to destinations, and I always make it a point to visit national museums or other notable ones when traveling. I'm also a big fan of good old physical magazines. There's something special about losing myself in a magazine for an hour with a cold oat latte. I enjoy reading about brands, trends, and all things fun, with *B* magazines from B Media Company being a favorite for their fascinating stories of various brands and philosophies.
